Candidate Q&A: Running unopposed, Prier seeks second term focused on responsible growth & public safety

We're continuing our series of Q&As with candidates in the April 7 municipal election. Today, we feature District 1 City Council member Mia Prier, who is running unopposed in her bid for a second term. In her responses, Prier emphasizes her commitment to responsible growth management, fiscal discipline and a strong support for public safety and first responders. Balanced development, she said, is the key to successful growth in the coming decade.

Lee's Summit Town Hall hosts Nick Parker and Jason Norbury will moderate the forum, set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at Bridge Space in downtown Lee's Summit.
